Up In The Air Typeface

Up In The Air is a Hangul–Latin multilingual typeface that explores how markings can express cultural identity and serve as a form of visual communication. Inspired by the traditional Korean game Gonggi, the design reinterprets the game's randomly generated markings to narrate memories of my childhood in Korea. The project bridges language, play, and personal storytelling through a distinctive multilingual typographic system.
